How to choose a birth chart report

A good birth chart report does five things: it asks for your exact birth time and city, converts the time with the historical time zone of that city, covers every planet, house and major aspect, shows a clear price with no upsells, and says how the text is written. Written reports usually cost $15 to $100; ours costs 20 crystals (about £1).

What should you check before you buy?

Check Why it matters What to look for
Birth time and city The rising sign and houses move about 1° every 4 minutes A time field, a city search and a clear option for "unknown time"
Historical time zone Daylight saving rules have changed many times; one hour moves the Ascendant about 15° A mention of time zone history or the IANA time zone database
Date confirmation Day and month swapped give a different chart The date shown in words before you pay
Coverage A Sun sign report is not a birth chart report Moon, Ascendant, Mercury to Pluto, 12 houses, aspects
Price Some sites add charges at checkout One price, shown before you enter your details
Method You should know what you are reading Who or what writes the text, and from which data
Sample Hard to judge a report without seeing one Sample pages on the sales page

How can you tell if a report is about your chart or just your Sun sign?

Look at the sample. A real birth chart report mentions degrees, houses and aspects: "your Moon at 0°55′ Leo in the 12th house, square Mercury". A Sun sign report talks only about your sign in general. If the sample could describe anyone born in the same month, it is not a full birth chart report.

Should the report be written by a person, a template or AI?

All three exist, and each has trade-offs:

  • An astrologer writes the most personal text, but usually costs more and takes days. See birth chart report vs astrologer reading.
  • Fixed templates are written once for each placement, such as "Venus in Scorpio", and joined together. They are reliable but can read as separate pieces.
  • AI can tie placements together for your chart, but it must work only from calculated positions, never invent them.

Our report uses a mix: fixed profiles for your Sun, Moon and rising sign, matched to your exact degrees, and AI chapters written only from your calculated positions. The methodology page explains every step.
