What do I get?
A PDF of over 30 pages with your chart wheel, the position of every planet, your houses and aspects, profiles of your Sun, Moon and rising sign, and a written interpretation of each placement. It costs 20 crystals (about $1) (12 on Gold, 8 on Diamond) and arrives by email within minutes. New accounts start with 30 crystals.
Do I need my exact birth time?
It matters for the Ascendant and the houses, which move about one degree every four minutes. Without a time we still calculate every planet and leave out the houses, and the report says so.
How is the chart calculated?
With Astronomy Engine, an open-source astronomy library accurate to about one arcminute. Chiron comes from the NASA JPL Horizons ephemeris. We use the tropical zodiac, Placidus houses, the true lunar node, and the historical time zone of your birth city on your birth date, including daylight saving time.
Who writes the interpretation?
The Sun, Moon and rising sign profiles are written by us for each sign and matched to your exact degrees. The chapters on each planet, house and aspect are written by an AI model working only from your calculated positions, so every paragraph refers to your actual chart.
Why do you show my birth date in words before I order?
Day and month swapped give a different chart. We show the date as "Tuesday, April 3, 1990" so you can check it.
Example: someone born on Tuesday, April 3, 1990, at 2:30 PM, in Chicago, Illinois, United States has the Sun in Aries, the Moon in Leo and the Ascendant in Leo.
An old and serious base, from trusted sources
- A tradition of almost 2,000 years. Your chart follows the classical rules of Western astrology, set down by Ptolemy in the Tetrabiblos in the 2nd century: the tropical zodiac, the major aspects and the dignities of the planets, with the Placidus houses astrologers have used since the 17th century.
- Astronomy, not guesswork. Planet positions come from the VSOP87 planetary theory that observatories use, through the open Astronomy Engine library, which is checked against NASA JPL data. Chiron comes from NASA JPL Horizons.
- Your exact place and time. Every city is located with GeoNames, and the time zone in force on your birth date comes from the IANA database, the same one your phone uses.
